Combining an extensive experience with valuable insight in the litigation support field, Mr. Phelps founded Discovery Copy Service in 1995. The company eventually grew and evolved into eDiscovery Solutions. As the legal community started transitioning to electronic data discovery, the company added a wide array of E-Discovery services and quick printing services, expanding to meet it’s clients’ needs.
His management skills and approach have created a casual work environment where employees know they are respected and rewarded for hard work. Through his visionary leadership, integrity, entrepreneurial spirit, and instinct, Mr. Phelps drives eDiscovery’s business growth as well as its culture. His strategy to focus on quality, not quantity has earned the gratitude of clients. Michael’s vision has successfully kept eDiscovery competitive during the economic downturn, which dramatically affected the legal industry.
Michael lives in Arlington, Virginia with his family . He is actively involved in helping local communities through generous donation of printing, scanning and eDiscovery services. In an effort to help those who cannot afford access to expert legal advice, eDiscovery Solutions collaborates on pro-Bono cases with local and international law firms.
